I wasn't supporting either Portugal or Croatia, but VAR denied Croatia a draw today. The penalty was controversial, but justified. Disallowing the goal for offside was a huge mistake. In his explanation, the referee said Croatian player number 20 touched the ball, which is incorrect. Croatian player number 15 was correctly offside when the pass was made. The ball accidentally touched Portuguese player number 13. #NoOffside

What is your theory on why Tiger Woods was such a horrible Ryder Cup player? It’s shocking. 13-21-3 record. His teams went 1-7. But he did go 4-2-2 in singles. He’s maybe the best match player to ever live. His record in the President’s Cup is great. And yet if you pair him up in a Ryder Cup, his team plays horribly. It’s crazy. My theory? When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met.
