But when it was time to check in and actually charge the card, his card declined. He is now demanding that she calls the manager, she’s asking him only for a valid credit card so she can check him in. He refuses and claims the initial reservation is proof he paid even though she explains how it works to him. Is it safe to say he knew he gave them a bad card and is now trying to get the room for free?
