The Commissioner of Police in charge of election security in the Osun State Governorship Election, CP Samuel Erale Etaifo, visited the office of the European Union–Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria (EU‑SDGN) as part of ongoing stakeholder engagements ahead of the poll. INEC Has Introduced An Electronic Ec8a — Itodo When the preceding officer fills the hard copy result sheets, they are expected to enter those results into an electronic version of that result sheet on the BVAS. It is a new procedure introduced by INEC which was test-run in the FCT and Ekiti elections. We now have 3 different tracks for results from one particular polling unit. Just after completing their village road, in Amamputu, Uli, KCEE and Emoney have flagged off the construction of a Health Centre in the village. The Health Centre reconstruction design features an ultra-modern facility to serve the 5 kindreds in Amamputu. I recall that the last time the Health Centre was operational was under Peter Obi. Since he left, the village has been without a functional health Centre. KCEE and Emoney equally offloaded 200 bags of 25kg rice for the villagers, while empowering many with finances to support their businesses. This is what real impact and giving back to society mean!✍️

Zambian broadcast journalist Alice Mutangala reports that the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has ordered all stakeholders to leave the election results totalling centre. She said that only police officers and Electoral Commission officials have been allowed to remain inside the centre.
