I’d love to know what Jordan Peterson would say…Devouring Mother? Oedipus-esque? This is weird…I know some women who walk this line. Not this crazy about it but definitely gonna screw up their boys. I watched a woman literally make out with her 10/11 year old son against his will in a store I worked at once. She had his face in a death grip while sitting on one of our couches, forcing his lips out by squeezing his face and kept giving him long kisses in between pecks…it went on for a time that I would say is beyond uncomfortable and it clearly happened a lot as the kid just sort of zoned out like a dead fish. The husband was embarrassed and just awkwardly apologized as they left…that guy is probably close to 40 now. I think about his a lot and wonder how he turned out.

I’m a boy mom and I adore my mother in law and she’s pretty great. My daughter in law is perfect for my son his daughter and our family. I’ve never had thoughts about my boys like this. My youngest is 17 and we’re very close and he would be humiliated if I ever wrote something like this 😬

This is why it’s so important to… 1) maintain an intimate and healthy relationship with your spouse after having kids. Put your spouse first always. 2) remember that eventually your kids will leave and it’s your job as the parent to prepare them to be capable adults who DON’T need you anymore.

All I can say in the most plain way possible is this is gross. She has serious issues that she will be handing down to her boys!
