Great work. I am not a linguist but I think this concept is same in fundamental languanges. Similar to yoruba, French (Italian) say 'Au revoir' ('arrivederci' ) that also mean 'until we see again' . I disagree with your translation of goodbye,bcos what of good day,morning etc
