Yep, then pull the oil drain plug, replace drain plug, crank it few good times to flush out cylinder, remove oil filter drain engine completely. New filter engine “rinse oil” then if you got it fog out the cylinder from the plug holes and ports. Add battery tender, remove fuel pump relay and crank some more. Reassemble, replace plugs and fuel relay. Let run/idle until it reaches operating temp. Check the dipstick for any heavy water signs, if water is present still and diluting the oil, pull drain plug again, refill with flush oil. Again check after running vehicle fifty miles, do not operate engine more than 50 hours without checking oil if vehicle only has hour meter. Change oil again like normal before 200 hours/miles. Should work fine, done similar stuff back in day. All this bs nowadays is so over kill, remember people work on these cars while it’s snowing. I’ve put engines together in down pour rain. Shit works, this is fine just simpler.
