True. We lived in a house in the woods with multiple caves in the ground. We always felt an ominous presence watching us. We had windows 10 ft off the ground, and one night, something was peering in. We moved. Something was out there watching.

Was walking down a dirt road with my little dog late one night in the forest. Then I saw a pair of big green eyes as high as mine only a few yards away.

Turkey hunting during early spring, I set up about 5 AM near an active coywolf den. Haven't hunted that side of the farm since.

Had the joys of being stalked by a big cat on old hwy 105 at the Linville gorge for a few nights. When I first spotted it I thought it was two people walking with flashlights. Our Pit bull was terrified the whole trip lol
