Hunter, your story is a strong one, of success! Ya so, you had an addiction problem such as millions of others have had! You have the genetics of a President, keep that in mind Hunter, and keep in mind, WE the People! Please consider running for office, you are a one of us guys!

It was hard enough being accused of being an addict when it was a reaction to the medication. My family's first reaction was to cut me out. Your story speaks to me because of what I went through. I'm so glad your family was there for you during your darkest times.

Drawing attention to addiction and recovery is a positive message. Many people struggle in silence, and highlighting that no one is alone can help. At the same time, real healing usually requires facing accountability for the harm caused along the way. Without that, lasting peace is hard to find. Hunter has benefited from a level of privilege that most people dealing with addiction never receive. That reality can’t be ignored.

Is there a support system for all your victims as well?

Well said. I've fallen 9, and got up 10, literally. I was able to get up because I had support, if only one person. I was not alone. Now, it's all about connection and DOING THE WORK of my Secular Recovery program. The first time I checked into rehab? Two mo. after the picture!
