You can either use road space efficiently, or you can have cars. Transporting 200 people: ๐ in busses (0:31 minutes) ๐ in trams (0:32 minutes) ๐ถ walking (0:38 minutes) ๐ฒ biking (1:59 minutes) ๐ driving (4:08 minutes ๐ฑ)

Just to mention: That's why cycle paths seem unused so often. No jams and even if everybody stops at a red light, cyclists are gone before drivers even reach the traffic light.

Sorry, but I donโt understand why cyclists are slower than pedestrians? Different route?

So dumb. If Iโm going 1000 meters Iโm walking/cycling. Why is that a debate. If Iโm going 10 miles Iโm driving. Suck it, cars rock. Plus every car doesnโt have one person in it and every us/train isnโt full. This is so dumb

People do not all move from the same spot to an other same spot at the same time. You should give as many starting points and destinations as there are people and at random times. Add to that that there are roads at every destination anyway, as they are needed for primary sec.

Busses are not on average full, and those 200 people are not going to the same place

To add, in that time for the drivers to progress the lights would have changed,so add another 3 minutes. Rinse and repeat across the town/city.

Ridicule

Sorry but most adults need and want cars The idea of everyone getting around on a bike is a cult fantasy .073 % of NYers ( 62,000 out of 8.3 ml) commute by bike by DOTs own stats How many if those r actually delivery ppl? No clue

The beauty of having your own car is that you don't have to put up with other people's shit, and with extra special benefit it takes longer๐.

Walking 60 miles equal 40 hours non stop. Driving 60 miles equal 1 hour. Yeah ur stats can go and f..ck their selves.
