It is advisable to use instead of the correctional link. This is a general link where u can do all modifications (DOB, change of name, change of address and even change ur phone number. Note: it is not free but you ain’t humanly paying to anyone. It’s RRR

Simple tip : first go to ur bank and get ur BVN print out . Make sure all the data on your BVN matches with ur NIN ...any discrepancy is an issue especially in banking transactions .. don't do guess work

In an event your details on NIN are correct but that on your BVN are wrong . Eg date of birth or name . For date of birth , get an affidavit from court and fill BVN corrections at your bank and supply them the affidavit and your NIN so they will fix it . It takes 48 hours to reflect . If it is a name issue , get an affidavit from the court explaining what u want , go and get a newspaper company to publish the new name ( national daily ) then go to your bank and fill the BVN incidence form . Supply the bank with : NIN , affidavit and newspaper publication where the name was published . This takes 48 hours also . The major issue is that all your data on BVN and NIN MUST MATCH ! This will help

Guys it is advisable anytime u are going enrol on NIN , please go with a printed copy of ur BVN to avoid all these issues . when u are going for modification , go with a printed BVN printout

It's a lie, they'll ask you to do it. They will lock you out and ask you to visit their office while doing it yourself. If you want to change anything in their office, you must pay for it.

The only advice I will give you all is never try to do any modifications by yourself, if you initiate any, you will be suspended. Look for an authorized agent or go to any nearby NIMC office. I am advising you based on my experience.
