Already running Hermes on my ChatGPT plan via the openai-codex provider (Codex OAuth). What's different with Sign in with ChatGPT through Nous Portal? Separate quota from Codex/ChatGPT usage, different rate limits, or just an officially supported auth path?

With this account linking, How would it know which GPT6 to use either Nous Portal Subscription or the ChatGpt Pro? Do you still need to select it explicitly under each subscription?

Start going much deeper and much more nuanced in your “prompts” with your 🤖 apps - too many still use ChatGPT like it’s Google search.. when it has much more power than that and can give you much more in depth answers and more importantly can be a working partner versus a quick tool .. hope this inspires more to use their voice - I think voice will be the main interface with ai 🤖 in the next decade & I hope this inspires someone to ask much more detailed questions and go much deeper with their details and nuances! What’s the longest prompt you’ve made so far ? What are u using these apps for so far?

yesterday, at the Codex hackathon, i ended up solving this problem by building an MCP connector app that turns ChatGPT into Codex, sort of. 1. you get to use GPT-5.5 Pro by exposing your local dev environment to ChatGPT, so you can use 5.5 pro for planning and handover to codex to execute it 2. you get to 2x your rate limits, just like last month, because apparently ChatGPT and Codex have separate rate limits here is the quick demo

Academic Paper Finder is a custom GPT you can use for this purpose. Open ChatGPT-4 and click on "Explore GPTs." Look for "Academic Paper Finder" and start asking questions. You will get a table of published papers with clickable links. PS: If you can afford, I'd highly recommend getting a ChatGPT-4 subscription. Think of it as an investment in your future skills.

Nous Research just dropped MOA (Mixture of Agents) presets inside Hermes Agent. I made a quick video showing how to set it up and create your own MOA. The idea: mix multiple models to get capabilities beyond any single model you can use right now. How it works: Normally Hermes sends your conversation + tools to one model. With MOA you get several reference models plus one aggregator. The references read the conversation and offer thoughts and suggestions, but they get no tool access and never reply to you directly. The aggregator is the one that actually acts. It sees the normal conversation plus the private advice from the references, then makes the tool calls and writes the final response. From Hermes's side, the aggregator's output IS the model's response, so you can use /goal or anything else like that. Cool idea, curious to see how it really performs!
