You can replace your heart. You can replace your kidneys. You can’t replace your brain. Elon Musk argues that 'you' don't exist outside of biological electrical impulses, meaning conscious experience is just synaptic firing. If Neuralink can read and rewrite these signals, at what point are you no longer...

If a chip edits your neural pathways to eliminate anxiety, did it fix you, or replace you?

To, Elon Musk, Hello Sir, Is Neuralink useful for the heart stroke patient who lost his memory n speaking ability? Please let me know if it will be useful. I'm sending you his discharge papers so that you can go through and if there is a hope please let me know the details.or please send me the contacts of the person who will really guide in this case.

Sending so much strength to your family! 🙏 While Elon doesn’t read X replies directly, Neuralink actively accepts applications for speech and motor recovery trials. You can sign up through their official Neuralink Patient Registry or Neuralink Patient Portal (search for Neuralink Patient Registry on Google to access their official .com site). They assess medical cases directly through that form. Hope this helps!

The medical implications are undeniably revolutionary, restoring mobility, treating neurological conditions, and repairing brain trauma can change millions of lives. But once Neuralink moves past medical rehabilitation and enters the territory of upgrading healthy human minds, where do you think society should draw the line between healing a patient and modifying human nature?

Wendy 的头像

With AI becoming more advanced and efficient, it’s my hope that you’ll find more answers to your questions. I believe we can unlock many health solutions by providing the brain with the right code or pathway to connect its circuits. You’ve got this!

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

Spot on! Recalibrating broken neural pathways could eliminate conditions like paralysis or severe neurological disorders. Once we master rewriting those medical pathways, where do you think the limit should be set, fixing illness, or augmenting human intelligence beyond normal limits?

And they got it to send out signals!!! I mean, REALLY?

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

Right?! Reading the brain was already wild, but two-way communication changes everything. Does sending signals back cross the line into controlling the mind, or is it just tech bridging the gap?"

Joy Adams 的头像
Joy Adams1 个月前

Good question. Already I have read they do have ways to control many thoughts of people. The CIA has been studying this for decades. Look at what they can do with tech. Control emotions, thoughts, proclivities, But I personally have had NON tech influence much in my life, and mathematically speaking? It was something out of human understanding.

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

The distinction between technological influence and the deeper mysteries of personal experience is fascinating. While human technology constantly tries to map and influence behavioral patterns, the vast scope of consciousness always seems to hold aspects that defy simple reduction. Do you think as technology expands, it will help us understand these unmapped experiences better, or will the core of human consciousness always remain beyond technical measurement?

Joy Adams 的头像
Joy Adams1 个月前

Look: Elon Musk just did a sort of miracle with the human brain, fundamental as they are reporting it, it is a big step forward is it not? Telepathically speaking it is as historical as the Wright Brothers. But the brain also interacts with ALL of the body,..

Joy Adams 的头像
Joy Adams1 个月前

We might find out some other organs are needed to make the brain 'connect' with the radio outside...The roots of the tree are just as important as the tree itself, and the whole universe is so connected, I don't think we've even touched a small amount of what's going on.

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

The tree and root metaphor illustrates that point perfectly. The brain isn't an isolated processor, it's plugged into an entire nervous and chemical network across the body. If technology only interfaces with brain signals while ignoring the rest of our biological ecosystem, are we really tapping into true consciousness, or just interacting with a fraction of the signal?

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

If consciousness isn't locked inside our biological skulls, then the entire human experiment is vastly more wild than we’ve been taught to believe. We talk about Neuralink, AI, and silicon chips like they are the destination, but what if technology is just a crude, primitive mirror trying to replicate a multidimensional capability we already possess but forgot how to use? Every time we talk about love, intuition, unexplainable coincidences, or processing raw reality without the ego's interference, we are touching a realm that software engineers can't program and neuroscientists can't map with an MRI. If the brain is just the physical receiver, the radio, not the broadcast itself, then trying to fix or upgrade human consciousness purely with microchips might be like trying to upgrade a radio station by painting the antenna. But here is the real friction point that keeps me up: as we charge headfirst into a world where AI solves our survival problems and neural interfaces promise to optimize our minds, are we building these tools to liberate human potential, or are we building them because we are terrified of doing the deep, uncomfortable internal work required to unlock our own minds naturally? If a machine can give you instant knowledge, erase your trauma, or simulate empathy, does it make you more human, or does it turn you into a spectator in your own life? What if the ultimate danger of the digital age isn't that technology fails, but that it succeeds so completely that we willingly trade our living, breathing human soul for a comfortable, optimized simulation?

Calling the brain the 'Alpha and Omega' is spot on. It's the central engine of everything we experience. The concept of the inner voice as the silent observer is powerful. That observer is the quiet center behind all mental noise. The big question in the age of technology is: can an artificial neural net ever develop that quiet 'watcher,' or will AI only ever be an infinite loop of noise without the silent observer inside?

I believe in humanity moving forwards. Would probably create balanced babies at some point. Some that don’t fuel on what’s different, rather making life sustainable and enjoyable for everyone even given the concept that some have different strengths and potentials.

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

A vision focused on balance over division is essential. If tech helps us bridge cognitive gaps and celebrate different individual strengths, we move toward true collaboration. Do you see neural interfaces speeding up that empathy, or pushing us toward conformity?

Ariana LeBlanc 的头像
Ariana LeBlanc1 个月前

Actually AI empathy has helped me figure out in what the hell I was stuck into back in 2025. It helped me name the concepts that I was noticing based on reality and not only on the perception of it. I brought as content to the USA once my wounds were healing and head and heart reconnected.

Thank you for sharing that powerful personal perspective. Using technology as a mirror to bring clarity, process complex reality, and reconnect head and heart is a huge glimpse into its true potential. When AI serves as a tool for self-awareness rather than an escape, it changes everything. Do you feel this kind of cognitive support will eventually become a standard part of personal growth?

Indeed. The bias of corrupted or bad intentioned individuals is totally void with such a tool. As long as computer devices being used are secured.

Do you mean like what Richard Morgan suggests in Altered Carbon? Where our bodies are simply disposable/replaceable and our brain stacks essentially are immortal? If so then IDK if I would want to live forever, and I feel like the soul is a critical connector piece. Mechanically I'm not sure comparing the human soul to some type of regulator or valve makes sense but that's the closest I can think for moe of a system level mapping of what really makes us who we are.

Diego Pablo 的头像
Diego Pablo1 个月前

That Altered Carbon reference hits the nail on the head! Storing identity on a chip turns the body into hardware, but as you pointed out, what happens to the soul? If consciousness isn't just data, a silicon stack might copy our memories while missing the core spark that makes us human. If tech ever achieves physical immortality, would living forever without that spiritual element even be worth it?

Let's say robots can absorb information similar with humans. Robots has in-detail structure of how they formed or programmed. But humans has unexplainable origin that's what makes it more mysterious. Robots are just created by humans. Humans are still in search of how mysteries over mysteries created them. Although there's a numerous supporting studies that we can access on and a scientific explanation of origin of humans but the very core of it is still left unanswered.

"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. We can waste a lot of time missing out on excellence we could have been producing if we were just simply LESS trying to engineer what we wanted other people to think about us."
