I appreciate your take, however what I haven’t heard from ANYONE talking about Zelenskyy is the WHY behind Russia beginning this war. I am not an apologist for Russia, but if people can’t take a step back and see that the US, NATO and the UN played a huge role as a catalyst for this war, then how can we make a peace deal? If we don’t talk about why the war began, then it’s possible a deal won’t be reached or would be broken AGAIN. Putin has warned many times since 1990 what would happen if NATO kept expanding, and he finally had enough. If the US was in a similar situation, there would be no hesitation to stop that kind of militaristic expansion of our adversaries. We wouldn’t have waited 20 years (2014 Crimea invasion) to make the first move.

Well said, brother! Too many people are blindly buying into the narrative of Zelenskyy as the heroic good guy battling the evil Putin. The truth is, neither of them fits these simplistic labels there’s no clear-cut good or bad here. What matters most right now is ending the war and stopping the bloodshed, but it’s hard for people to see that when they’re caught up in emotional reasoning instead of thinking clearly.

We can stand with Ukraine’s people, their resilience, their fight, without backing Zelenskyy’s every move. Support isn’t a blank check. Thoughts? The issue is if Europe continues to escalate then we will have no choice, but to intervene on a larger scale.
