@rive_app what's performance like for this? i know in css box-shadow transitions are pretty costly.

You can also use the Gradient layer type in Toolbag to make planar knurling like for this pistol grip panel 😎 Adding a sync point above the layer lets you use the effect with smart mats and generators as well.
