Didn't run into that on my Casio G-Shock. BTW it connects to radio to sync time. Radio!

I think the entire WearOS (5.1) is totally obstructed by requiring a phone for it to work. My Pixel Watch 3 does the same thing. I really want to get a phone-free experience, but I wish the WearOS and its apps weren't totally dependent on the phone.

I will never understand the mentality behind a woman going out on a date with a guy she's insecure about.
