Neguse: If you did not intend to increase income taxes then you would not have needed to include a waiver of that rule. House rules are very clear that any income tax increase requires 3/5 support of the full house. If you want to increase income taxes, you have to get 3/5 of the house to support it. You all decided you do not want that rule to apply to this bill. The only reason why you would do so is because you know your bill does in fact increase income taxes.

Also, Karmelo did not say it was self-defense. He asked if what happened could be considered self-defense. These are two very different distinctions. You would think that someone who “is creating a whole movement” would at least know what the report said. WE ARE TIRED OF YOU. I suggest finding a life.
