So that's clear @Keir_Starmer (the EU) "...cannot face a situation where there's a sort of cherry-picking in the Single Market... The Single Market is our main asset... we cannot accept any kind of unravelling of the Single Market, NEVER!"

We should face the consequences of Brexit and create a low tax base UK and see how they like those consequences.

May be true but if Labour wins GE (now likely), there may be opportunities for quid pro quo between UK/EU. Brexit has been damaging for EU countries also: Germany/car industry, & SMEs on both sides would welcome easing of restrictions. Have to hope Labour achieves some movement.
