“You cannot forgive and punish someone at the same time… if his conviction does not punish him, there’s nothing you can do..”

This is why I now just pull back my energy and create the space necessary for the person to either correct their behavior or the connection to come to an end. It’s not my job to punish people or change them. It’s hard enough to correct my own behavior.

this is a word for sure but at the same time the other person has to value you as such for their heart to even be moved by their actions. alot of ppl will do you wrong & wont think twice about doing it again.
