Want to see the magnetic field? Use one of those magnets flat on the table. Put a 12" square of heavy paper or cardboard over is. Get a bottle of iron filings and sprinkle on the cardboard. The pattern revealed is the magnetic field. An old demo.

The idea of forces only blurs the notion of the electromagnetic field and how magnetism arrises. Its not an invisible force alone, its the field that is actually interacting with the spin charged electrons field. Fields explain the action at a distance of a magnetic force

Technically that’s not the effect of a magnetic field; that’s the effect of current passing through wire in the presence of a magnetic field.
