@SKhaqanAbbasi Miftah wants more powers for the Fed govt, which is at the root of the instability and economic disaster. Curbing federal competences, empowering provincial govts and recognizing powers of the provincial legislature on LGs can end the power struggles and help cut federal waste.

I talked about our neglect of the middle and lower classes and the importance of bringing all Pakistanis in the national mainstream. We also need the federal and provincial governments to reduce their expenditures and raise more revenues.

Their focus is on long-term development initiatives. It’s collective responsibility of the cabinet to look into the matters related to governance and inflation. Minister Iqbal was top performer in the previous government during 16 months.
