Just like anything else in your training, your end range work needs to come with a large degree of difficulty and a large bandwidth for failure. Mobility is largely neurological. If the problem isn’t challenging, there’s no reward for completing it. Fail more in your training.

I sat down with Brett Adcock, CEO and Founder of Figure AI, to discuss the future of humanoid robots. In less than three years since its inception, Figure has built versions 01 and 02 of their humanoids, developed a foundation model called Helix AI to reason like humans, shipped robots into the factories of their commercial customers, and is now valued at $39.5 billion according to their latest funding round. Brett is a founder who wants to win.
