I fear Susannah is missing the point here. It isn’t contempt of court to ask for more information, or suggest we aren’t getting enough information from police. It’s contempt to offer up more information than police, which Nigel didn’t do More information from police would’ve helped calm the atmosphere. For example, how many times have rapists been described by police as, for example, “Skegness man” when the truth is they have been asylum seekers? It gives the impression the police are protecting criminals, and to hell with the communities this blights. None of this likely impacts Susannah or Ed, who live in gilded cages Ed should save his rants for his missus. It’s her job as Home Secretary to fix the borders and do something about two-tiered policing!

This "interview" was an absolute disgrace. Don't invite somebody on your show to continually talk over them. That is not necessary to challenge what they're saying. It's just rude, boorish behaviour and no GMB viewer learned anything from it, other than how not to interview someone.
