You can’t make an ending better than this.

An amazing detail about this is that the credits dont just show the GT characters and voice actors, it shows everyone from the beginning of Dragon Ball to the end of GT.

Episode 64 of GT is genuinely one of the best episodes of the entire series. Toei knocked it out of the park when they delivered this finale. It's not perfect by any means, but you can tell there was a lotta love poured into it. Also love this Goku shot, it's 1:1 to the manga :)

Because unlike Super, which basically felt like a hiatus cliffhanger, GT actually felt like a REAL continuation of the OG and Z. It respected the characters, their growth, and the story. It wasn't perfect but this ending truly feels like the ending to dragon ball as a whole.

The best way to end the ORIGINAL db series

Despite its problems, GT has a good ending. My only issue with it is the fact that Bulma's family and the Son family grew apart and didnt know each other at the final tournament. Especially within Pan's lifetime.

Dragon Ball GT is still better than Dragon Ball Super. The modern animation for DB has gone downhill.

Agreed, honestly! This is easily the most memorable moment from GT for me I was bawling my eyes out with tears thinking Dragon Ball was officially over. 😭 But then, a few weeks later, I saw the trailer for Battle of Gods, so woohoo!

When Kai came out, I was like, 'Give me back the tears I cried in high school!' I literally thought I’d never see Dragon Ball again, which broke my heart because I grew up with it."

One fun thing I learned about this ending. It was the first thing they worked on for GT, they had a clear picture on how they wanted to finish the story, so that's why there is majority OG and Z with a small bit of GT. (If I am wrong LMK, it's what I've been told)

The series probably should've ended there maybe. Can't really what would've happened if it actually did. But yeah this ending was special.

Even though GT will go down as the WORST Dragon ball show, IT had a PERFECT ENDING that is still loved to this day!
