Miss you Dave, and How Marilyn would drop by my house to talk to my mom in Spanish to pick up me and my older brother to go play baseball at the Redmond baseball field. RIP Dave.

Thanks. I miss this man SO much!! He solidified my Mariner fandom and I was able to tell him that when I met him on the opening weekend of SafeCo Park (now T-Mobile.) But hearing his voice comforts me.

Man I miss hearing Dave call the games. Reminds me of my grandpa and watching games with him in his tv room (would be called a mancave today). I miss him too. I sure hope the Mariners front office doesn’t let us down again.

Damn it, why are you making me cry? There has been no loss in baseball that hurt more than Dave. They say to never meet your heroes; meeting him proved that wrong. Such grace, such humility, such class. God bless Dave Niehaus. Forever.
