This is the first time in 3 years neither I or Pivot Podcast was nominated for a Sport’s Emmy. I wanted badly for the people we work with, & more importantly Lil Greg Brooks. He was going to be our guest. Someone said I’m not known as sports anymore, I get it. I never meant to be “just” sports. I’m so grateful when people tell is we’ve impacted their life beyond sports. I’ve just been feeling really grateful lately. Life is not where I want it to be yet. I’m still trying to figure things out. I’m still working, still trying, still hoping things get better. But when I stop and really think about everything I’ve been through, I’m proud of myself. There were so many times I didn’t know how I was going to get through something, but somehow, I did. I’m still here. I’m still dreaming. I’m still building my life. And honestly, that means a lot to me. I’m so grateful for every person who has supported me, checked on me, helped me, donated, shared my story, or simply reminded me that I’m not alone. I never expected some of the love I’ve received, and I’ll always be grateful for it. I don’t have everything figured out. I don’t have everything I want yet. But I believe things will get better. I believe in myself. And I know that one day, I’m going to look back at this version of me and say, “Girl, we really went through it.” 😂 Then I’ll look at my life and say, “But look at you now.” I’m proud of me. I’m grateful to still be here. And I truly believe I’ve got this. 🤍

43 years of Woh 7 Din. ❤️ Some films stay with you forever. For me, this will always be one of them. I have said it earlier and I’ll always say it, that I am grateful to #PadminiKolhapure and #NaseeruddinShah. I always miss them a little extra when it comes to celebrating Woh 7 Din. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t think I’d be celebrating these 43 years today. They made a newcomer like me feel welcome and gave me the confidence I needed to connect with the audience. A big thank you to the Great and Late #BapuSaab for also believing in me and directing me, #KBhagyaraj for writing such a beautiful story, and to my father #SurinderKapoor and my brother Boney Kapoor for believing in me and producing the film.
