@YpgInt There are contiguous areas in Turkey, Iraq and Iran where there is a Kurdish majority. This does not exist in Syria. To keep insisting on a state in Syria is utter madness and undercuts the Kurdish cause for independence in areas where they are the clear majority.

Five days of resistance, and the will stronger than walls. They came out with their heads held high, their weapons in their hands, just as they entered with unbreakable dignity. Do you know who the Kurds are now? We may be surrounded… but we are not defeated. We may grow tired… but we do not bow. We may be wounded… but we do not surrender. We are a people who learned an eternal lesson from the mountains: We die… but we do not surrender. #KobanêUnderAttack #DefendRojava

I absolutely demand the @nhl do this with their officials immediately. If you won't have them answer questions then we need to see their POV.

As antisemitism gains ground, #HolocaustRemembrance offers a striking lesson: apathy & silence are never the right answer to rising hatred. Together, we must challenge bigotry & racism & stand up for our shared humanity – everywhere & every day.

The surveillance state wants you to believe resistance is futile. History says otherwise. The past is filled with “unwinnable” battles, that were won anyway because people refused to surrender.
