If accurate, this would explain things. Just to clarify, since I’ve seen some people misinterpreting my tweet: idk why he got pulled. I was simply stating what happened, which was him getting pulled after the fly ball dropping in front of him.

¡YA QUE LLEGUÉ! 😬 El ‘Tato’ Noriega reveló las razones por las cuáles Sergio Ramos dijo que sí a Rayados. Así va el fichaje del español. 📲 #LigaMX #Clausura2025 #SergioRamos #Rayados

I was at the game. Ounce he got in the dugout the manager gave him a hug and Lugo took his stuff and left. Probably got called up.

Thanks for the heads up. Would seem to have just been odd timing.

There's no way he got pulled for that. He wouldn't have made that catch based on where he was positioned

Then what did he get pulled for?

Definitely pulled because he’s getting called up. This is very common in AAA. As soon as the big club decides they are making the move they don’t want to risk injury at AAA. Happens in AAA a couple times per week.

SS lost the ball in the sun and I would say hard for Lugo to catch that one. Maybe Halos releasing Chris Taylor after all his K's and Lugo needs to catch the first flight out to Boston. 🤔

Is that really his fault tho? Seemed to be playing right in front of the warning track and ball landed just out the infield …… not his fault the shortstop couldn’t find it.

Matthew Lugo got pulled mid inning in Triple A (who the fuck writes AAA) because he got called up* Fixed it for you. Clown
