You either use Matthew Golden or squander it. The assessment has not changed 📈 Steve Smith Sr. Show

@SteveSmithSr89 Packers fans have learned this staff doesn’t always get the most out of their rookies. Especially on offense and with our receivers, historically!

@SteveSmithSr89 Draft and develop has just been our style. MG is going to be a MONSTER for us soon, I can feel it.

@SteveSmithSr89 Kid has super glue hands throw him the ball what the fuck are we doing

@SteveSmithSr89 They said on a broadcast that the team literally said Golden has the largest hands and the best hands on the team. Yet still I check stats every week, hardly targeted or even out there.

@SteveSmithSr89 Next year when he gets 2 after Willis leaves and Doubs is gone he’ll move up the pecking order

@SteveSmithSr89 This coming from a guy who played in 15 games and had 10 receptions his rookie year.

@SteveSmithSr89 This is why it’s so hard to last in the nfl even if you talented you don’t control everything and Jordan love is weird with how he distributes the ball you never know who he’s force feeding that week

@SteveSmithSr89 Red shirt year for any rookie in Green Bay

@SteveSmithSr89 I watched a handful of GB games in September/October and just could not have been more confused at why they weren’t making him the focal point of their deep passing game. Seemingly every time he ran a go, he was behind the defense

@SteveSmithSr89 That’s huge that surtain said that

@SteveSmithSr89 They need to trade him immediately. Send to him to a team that will actually utilize him. He's being completely wasted in GB.

@SteveSmithSr89 @jasonjwilde @gneitzel16 …. Interesting stuff about Golden. I know Gabe feels this way!

@SteveSmithSr89 Targets are earn not given No block no rock Gotta earn it rookie or not

@SteveSmithSr89 Love needs a little more time in the pocket to hit this kid. I am hoping with Tom coming back thats the protection he needs to let this kid fly out there and make huge plays

@SteveSmithSr89 Definitely without any doubt Golden will breakout in 2026.... Looks very promising when he gets the ball !

@SteveSmithSr89 Please show this to Bears fans so we can watch them try to dismiss Smitty and Surtain as unqualified hacks.

@SteveSmithSr89 They wont have all the same options next year. He should get more targets.

@SteveSmithSr89 That’s that longhorn for you

@SteveSmithSr89 Dude speaks facts every time mane

@SteveSmithSr89 Love doesn’t know how to play with a wr1 idc how dumb it sounds he fucking sucks

@SteveSmithSr89 Key quote, “he’s going to be good” calm the fuck down

@SteveSmithSr89 Does he not know the playbook? Obviously shows no interest in attempting to block when out there.

@SteveSmithSr89 @weebus318

@SteveSmithSr89 I don't understand why everybody needs a rookie to amazing. They have a stable of good receivers. They are allowing him to get acclimated to the NFL, learn, and exceed in his second year. The idea that he needs every single ball thrown to him is just ridiculous.

@SteveSmithSr89 @LosTheIVth

@SteveSmithSr89 Yall just spread the ball too much

@SteveSmithSr89 I think Golden ends up being solid, but I think I’m going to stick to my Kyle Williams > Mathew Golden take
