Don't do it, we don't do that here😎

Over familiarity is a serious problem anywhere and it's important, especially as a subordinate not to let over familiarity cloud your vision otherwise you'd mess things up. Well done, Chief Eric 🙌🏿

That microphone has entered the matter as a witness

My Dad had similar experience. He wouldn't advise anyone to do it. Help them in other ways, but don't bring them into your business, most igbo people know this, hence why they'd rather send their siblings for apprenticeship to someone else than take them for apprenticeship

yes this is the symptom of cultural decay.. and it is real for us.. this is the Job of an intentional father to keep his family together with a purpose for that.. this story is not the same for other cultures e.g. the Jew and Asians that's why they are Leading in the world

Instead of bringing family to business just give them money to set up Dem selves, that see finish is the craziest part

When bringing family and friends into your business, ensure they are coming in as a partner and not an employee, especially in the early stage of the business l.

My aunt opened another poultry farm. Brought a family member to manage it. Today, the business is closed. Land, sold! The man had started his own farm with my aunt's chickens. During that time, either 6 chickens died or feed has finished. The man has returned to the village.

A lot of people don’t understand how dangerous it can be to mix family/friendship with business. “It’s your cousin, carry him along.” “It’s your brother, give him something to do.” But once emotions enter the business, accountability becomes difficult. You can’t correct them the same way you’d correct an employee or business partner because every decision now comes with emotional baggage. Love your people. Support them when you can. Give them money if you have it. But business needs structure, boundaries and accountability. I learned this one the hard way. Never again.

Familiarity breeds contempt bro.

There you know why Jesus didn’t do much in His home town. He didn’t even add his “brothers n sisters” to the twelve. Apostle Paul say… imitate me as I imitate Christ. A wise is enough for the word. 😁

In conclusion, “don’t do it”

The Guys eyes has seen shege

I understand this POV but it doesn't go always. I have siblings/friends running profitable ventures together. If your friend(s) and sibling(s) are not disciplined and dedicated, have no integrity then it is a no no but if you have solid guys abeg ahead ahead.

When are you coming to the UK?
