Mere bhai, it’s called the govt-builder nexus for a reason. If the govt actually does its job & provides citizens basic amenities we rightly deserve, how will the builder overcharge you for the same?

The township is made, and it looks good for first 5 to 10 years ..... then maintaining it becomes an issue and the going gets tough

No amount of gated complexes can and will solve the issues our cities face. Have you lost so much faith in our public institutions that you’d rather have builders deliver on services instead of electing leaders who actually want to fix these issues?

That’s true but because of Indian govts mismanagement only builders are earning too much and getting premiums , poor infrastructure lead to higher land prices in areas which are business prone because no body want to commute much z if infra is good then anybody can live far away

It’s called “Privatisation” my friend and builders are not doing any “favour” by building such amenities. They charge every penny for that extra space, gym, park, hospital etc. It just looks glorious in contrast coz the Govt. is doing a pathetic job in building public spaces!

Reasonable argument for builders! But,700 arrest warrants issued against builders & NOT 1 arrest made! This shows the nexus between politicians & builders! They keep them out of jail,believing they are doing good for the city & hence should not be in jail.

absolutely true.. once you have lived in a gated community with 24x7 security, maintenance, walking tracks, gardens, it’s impossible to live outside in a standalone house or to a lesser extent, even in a CGHS society.
