The problem starts when ignorance takes over people. Visa extension for skilled workers is different from find creative ways to enter South Africa and grab a land everywhere you see fit.

Foreigners are black Africans. South "AFRICA" is not part of Africa. White from accross the sea are investors and skilled...they must come and dig holes in Kimberly and leave. We will call it heritage site and will call other holes Goldrief-city...Nton ntoni...

This is exactly my sentiment on some of the people in South Africa as I watch from afar. I spoke to some people from South Africa on X, on the last election day in South Africa about the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement ratified by the African Union. South African people told me they didn't support open borders or the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) treaty with a harsh level of xenophobia directed at other Africans of similar melanin levels from neighboring African Countries It was quite shocking to witness these xenophobic perspectives firsthand. They told me they didn't like the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) treaty or the idea of visa free travel for all Africans. In my opinion, the best of the best minds being able to freely travel through out the African Continent for collaboration and economic opportunities would do wonders for the people in the continent of Africa. Who needs colonialism with xenophobic African people like the ones I spoke to that day. But as we say in sarcastic criticism in the United States, "if you like it, I love it".

Even though I hate both statements, they are NOT the same. The minister is focusing on critical skills while malema said he'll open the borders completely for free entry to anyone. Even though you may love malema on this but results of this policy are not what you want.

These people are hypocrites. Now they are busy justifying it but when CIC was talking about they didnโ€™t want any foreigner whether they are here legally or not. I blame SA media. Media was used against us too much. These elections we were a serious threat.
