You have to look at this realistically

How much did having the motion not allow for changes? Once he starts the motion you’re not stopping to adjust.

Bingo And the length of the motion it’s a long evolving motion The Mcvay double motion would’ve been the golden ticket on it

You need to watch this:

What are your thoughts on going empty vs a guy like Spags on 4th and 5?

You’re too focused on the execution of the play Given the circumstances, I thought it was pretty clear the play that was called could have been much better Knowing spags is likely calling a fancy blitz, why only have 5 men protecting the QB? Allen was set up to fail

@danorlovsky7 Once #17 seen the Blitz he ran to his right.. Everyone talking about Shekir being open which is easy to say..when they never played. Did #17 ran to his right as his first instinct because thats his strong side where he could perhaps extend the play?

You should look at how the Bills got fleeced by the refs

Didn’t understand why changing the protection wasn’t a good idea.

Shouldn't the receiver at the top have read the blitz of his corner and broke outside at the first down (5 yards)? No way the safety gets to the outside to cover that.

Better would be. Get 6 yards not throw it 17

Devils advocate: if Josh knows the play better, he technically doesn’t need to see shakir to know where he is/what route…he instinctively should have known to flip around and dump it once pressure was coming.. but again he prioritized other routes / bad play call tbh
