You just had to be there man

One of the greatest moments in UFC history

Funny thing is, Izzy even fought better in the first fight, but was just so unlucky.

I watched this in a movie theater. It was awesome

For real. I was gutted for 2 seconds like "Man, Israel is about to get put away AGAIN for the FOURTH time" then WHAM

The buildup to this rematch was insane. Stylebender didn't stop running him mouth. It was the exact same scenario that played out in the first match that Adesanya lost. Like he planned to bring the fight back to that same situation and still triumph. I was so glad for his win!

This ended Izzy. He hasn’t had the same passion since he finally got this win

High level striking, lots on the line, many ppl watching, crazy build up & back story, finished with a KO, hit a legendary celebration, taunted his opponents kid who was doing it to him in a previous fight between them.. it doesn’t get much better than this right here 😮‍💨

I can’t remember me watching a fight where I thought yup it’s over he’s about to lose and instantly the other dude got ko the next second like this fight

Was there live. MIA. The aura in that stadium that night was unreal. I was going for Alex but still left so pumped up. What a night.

chama 🔥🥵🤣

Every Nigerian that night 😩…. 😂❤️🇳🇬

In another timeline Izzy rides off into the sunset with this victory 🥹

Absolute Beast 🙌🏾

From the moment that Izzy walked out, I knew it was going to be special. Walking out to Headstrong was so badass.

imagine getting goosebumps watching something for the 100th time.

So beautiful🥹

that's the moment I knew he was done because it's the same thing that happened at the end of round 1 the previous time and Izzy had 47 seconds here lol

Rewatching this I noticed that the combo he threw at the 2 minute mark in round 2 is pretty identical to what he used to finish the fight a minute later but it started with the legt instead of the right. Crazy stuff, was such a great fight and exciting moment.

It was beautiful

Watched it live but was to much of a casual to appreciate it.

Having 2 of the top 3 strikers in UFC history at the same time in the octagon was legendary. (I have Anderson at 1)

This Izzy needs to come back, you can tell that Izzy was willing to trade in the pocket with Poaton in this fight. Glad he got it done finally.

Did you have to be there the 4 times Izzy got put to sleep by the same opponent? Or just the one time he got a shot off …

😍

Absolute cinema

Top 3 fight I ever seen Adesanya a LEGEND

One of the greatest knockouts ever man this shit felt so sweet

adesenya was getting absolutely fucked up before the luckiest punch of his career. show the other 3 fights where he got slept twice and dominated to a decision

Ptime Izzy is a 🐐

I was in Vegas for a wedding, rushed to find a place to watch it after the reception. What a time!

Crazy to think Adesanya sacrificed his chin and his longevity for this rivalry. Was never the same after these fights.

I was in my house and was still the greatest KO I’ve ever seen because of the set up
