So, you know the thing about, I know about guys when they get in a situation Jayson was in, you know, I had to be, I had a chance to be around Kevin [Garnett] when he was going through his injury and stuff. I remember when I was about 22 or 23, and I was at one of the lowest points in my life for various reasons… I felt the need to go to church and wanted to find “peace” in my heart. I felt lost… I felt like I needed God in my life. I didn’t know what that even meant, I just felt it. I ended up at a church with a pastor very similar to this man.. and I wasn’t even a spiritual person back then, but everything inside of me was screaming to get out. Looking back now, without knowing it.. I felt demonic forces at play. God was telling me to get out. Eventually I found my way, and that was only because of my journey — I sat down one night and just started talking to God… not even understanding that I was praying.. From that point on, my life changed so much and I began to see things differently, God revealed things to me, and taught me how to find clarity in all situations,.. I found peace. There is no peace that can be found at Churches like this and with Pastors like this… true peace comes when you just start opening your mouth to speak God’s name and begin talking to him. You don’t need a church to find God.
