I rarely saw them, but as a Sonar Tech, I heard them all the time. Sometimes you could hear the splashes.

I assume dolphins (the mammals not the fish) have a spread of intelligence, like humans. I wonder how many dolphins surfing the bow waves underestimate their leaps and boink the bow on entry?
