This was the view I had up in the sail...wished I had a camera...so very enjoyable,
I rarely saw them, but as a Sonar Tech, I heard them all the time. Sometimes you could hear the splashes.
Nice. I could chill to that for hours. I'll just imagine that is the USS Alabama, right?

Love that video, reminds me of when I was a bridge phone talker pulling into San Diego. As far as today, I'd guess field day or cleanup ship prior to pulling into port!!

I assume dolphins (the mammals not the fish) have a spread of intelligence, like humans. I wonder how many dolphins surfing the bow waves underestimate their leaps and boink the bow on entry?
