Staleness and relevance point the same way: retrieval ranks by similarity to the question, so the note that's most on topic wins even after it stopped being true. Timestamps don't help; nothing judges if four months is too old. Write the invalidation condition into the note.

I gave my Grok Bot two options: multiply or die. It came back asking for $250 to hire a team of six. The same headcount on a real desk is three analysts and a risk officer.
