"Weirdest rain I've ever seen." A woman in San Diego captured this as a line of rain moved toward her, causing a brief downpour before continuing on. When a heavy rain shower is barely moving and winds are calm, the rain can come straight down, making for a stark line of rain on the ground. Normally, there is some wind that will carry some of the rain away from the storm, transitioning from a few drops into a heavy downpour.
