“You look African” make’s Africans feel uncomfortable

Sometimes, I confuse Jamaicans, Hatians, (Carribeans) ..with Africans because of their facial features....I wait until I hear them speak to know.

Yup the accent gives it away lol I used to get Latinos confused all the time Puerto Ricans specifically take it to heart when you confuse them with Mexicans or Dominicans 🤣🤣

I remember this Kenyan guy being shocked that I knew he was Kenyan before he could tell me. I’m like dude you look Kenyan. Told a Nigerian man the same thing the other day, once told a Sudanese man. They look like who they are.what’s wrong w/that 🧐

@HehewutiDawado I ask them all the time and I usually follow up with what country I think they come from ( usually west African ) and they always seem uneasy about me knowing about them… different story with Caribbeans I never seen a Jamaican not happy to be Jamaican 😂

Wow No wonder why they sit up here and project on us all day they hate themselves and being African . I bet if someone told him he looks Black American he would of had a huge smile though and say thanks 😁😂😂. They know people can tell the difference and hate it🤦🏽‍♂️
