@OregonBaseball Either no call or obstruction. The rule states that a defensive player cannot block the path to the plate prior to fielding the ball, the catcher plants in the base path immediately upon the ball being caught by LF

@OregonBaseball Beaver hat off and Umpire hat on. NCAA rule 8-7 and 2-55. I'm sorry, but the call was correct. By those two rules, Anson is tossed and the run is removed via malicious contact before touching the base.

@OregonBaseball One of the most ignorant liberal imposed rules I have ever seen in my life as a sports fan. It's called BASEBALL! Baseball is a contact sport. I drove catchers into the backstop many times during my playing days. Block the plate get run over. But now we're worried about injuries.
