Been a Linux users for years now. I recently tried Omarchy on a older HP X2 and it installs fine but after it updates the first time it won't boot anymore tried several reinstalls. Did the Nomodeset trick and it doesn't work. But anyway I did install CachyOS and have run Ubuntu and Mint on the same laptop at different times not at the same time. I really enjoy Linux and enjoy testing out all the versions I can.

I'm an old Linux user starting in the 90's and have been so busy with work that I convinced myself that a tiling window manager was too much work to master and stayed on KDE. Not anymore. I'm giving it a good shot and it's not that bad.

One of the biggest obstacles preventing people from switching to Linux is that its not easy for people who arent very tech savy to use. Even with Debian and Mint, you need to hack your own computer just to use it sometimes. Hopefully @OmarchyLinux can make a distro as easy to use as Windows and Mac so that more people make the switch. Tech should belong to the people, not a select few tech monopolies that sell closed source OS. It should also be accessible and usable for everybody, not just us masochistic computer geeks.
