I hate the narrative of LEOs, there needs to be more of these stories, too many good officers/Deputies are lumped in with the bad ones

A father was shopping with his young daughter, she was playing for a money on some playground equipment in the mall when a man approached his daughter and tried to lure her away. The father immediately stood up and went to his daughter, the man then kept going looking like he was confused and pretended nothing happened. The father kept a close eye on the man and soon discovered that he wasn’t alone. The man was working in a group, he had someone for a lookout, someone as a distraction, and someone to block any would be rescuers. He ended up calling the police and safety took his daughter home. I know he wanted to record them to spread awareness but if this happened to you wouldn’t you just call the cops and head out right away, you don’t know who else is involved right?

On January 19 I called the Department of Public Health and reported this man living conditions I called again February 3 and reported he’s living with rodents and a gigantic spider and other things. But as long as he’s not a danger to his self, he’s fine to live in his SRO in rot.

This morning, a 29-year-old man showed up with a gun during a school event at New Manchester High School. After he fled from school resource officers, Douglas County deputies were able to track him to a house on Ferncrest Place, where he got into a shootout with deputies, resulting in his death.
