With Tyler Robinson due to appear in court today, C-Span decided to air Charlie Kirks speech at Trump's last inauguration. There will never be another like Charlie, but we have to do EVERYTHING we can to carry the torch. Star Wars - The Ghost's Apprentice (Fan Film) I'm so beyond excited to finally share this with you all. I've spent the last two weeks working non-stop, everyday to make this film. I truly hope you enjoy it. 😊 Star Wars was one of the biggest inspirations for me as a kid growing up to become a filmmaker. I watched the original trilogy so much the VHS tape was worn thin. A dream of mine to this day, is to bring a Star Wars story to the big screen, but this project is the first step to that hopeful future. I set out to do this project entirely in Veo 2, but I genned so much that I actually genned out my early access Veo 2 subscription (thank you lightsaber fight 😂). A massive thank you to S.A.V for doing the saber VFX and helping me complete the ending sequence in the final twilight hours. Would not have hit the deadline without you. Another massive thank you to @artisdead_ai for listening to my ideas on this project and providing feedback and to push me to keep moving and genning as I went crazy at times with gens not working the way I wanted too. Without these two guys, this project wouldn't exist. I'm so happy with how this one turned out and I'm so thankful to each and every one of you who continues to support me on this wild journey. I had to wait nearly 7 minutes on them to get to the car, and when they got there, one had to go back in again real quick since he thought he forgot something. I got back from honeymoon last summer and handed in my resignation at DeepMind. My wife thought I was crazy. AI has always been about prediction, but normally we predict small things: a token of text, or moves in chess. The ultimate challenge is to predict the world’s most important events. We recently went up against some of the world’s top forecasters, and came much closer to beating them than any AI system before. We're used to seeing crazy results from the AI community, but I think this one is special: 1. Accurately forecasting global issues is extremely difficult. 2. You can’t memorize the answer: it hasn't happened yet. 3. It was considered very unlikely for an AI system to do as well as Mantic did (5-10% chance). 4. Superhuman forecasting has the potential for transformative impact across the economy. She still thinks I’m crazy, but less so every day😛
