I was there and it WAS all that.

True story-I was driving in the car with my husband and we were jamming out to 90s music and I went from laughing/singing to crying.. He looked over at me and noticed tears streaking down my face. He said “baby what’s the matter?” I said through the tears “I just wanna go back. We will never have this again”. 💔 Best times ever. ♥️😭🙏🏼🥺

They were great times.

I’m an 80s kid, but this rewind on the 90s broke me worse than you think it did. 🥺🥺🥺

My entire childhood in one video... Bonus points if you know what movie this is from... 👀 Hint, if you were a kid in the 90's you probably shouldn't have seen it 😂

Remember when we all thought the future was going to be more amazing? Only to grow up and realize we already lived the greatest decade in human history. What a time indeed…

You really had to use this song?!!

You could run from the curb of the airport terminal onto the plane without it being like Checkpoint Charlie, flash your boarding pass, and get on the damn plane. We were still free.

It’s sad kids will never know the freedom of partying without phones around.

Meh...80's 🔥

90s nostalgia isn't just vibes—it's the ache of knowing nothing will ever feel as endless as those golden afternoons again. We move too quickly through time.

I don’t know… Every time I see one of these 'growing up in the 90s' videos, it's just a montage of 90s TV shows and MTV clips. Where's the stick fights, slingshots, freestyle bikes, building tree houses, drinking 40s and fishing by the river, running into all kinds of crazy characters, because outside was the only place you wanted to be?

Going up in the 80’s and 90’s were the best. We had it so good! 😭🥹❤️

70’s, 80’s, 90’s were the last decades that meant anything of real value. The only reason I’m sticking it out to witness the rest of this shitstorm is because I’ve got a kid. Otherwise, I would’ve walked a long time ago…

Felt like the world got along so much better in the 90s

The longer I live, the more I begin to realize the world really did end on Y2K.

How do you describe the 90s to people now that never knew what it was like to not have a phone?

Cars also looked the best in the 90's.

If you think the 90s were great then you never knew the freedom of the 80s. The 90s were 20% of the 80s. Leftism had taken over by that point. You don't even know freedom.

Man... The 90's was great. It was a lot more than just TV Shows and movies. The very vibe was just... Different. You could walk up to a group of people and literally insert yourself into their activities, lol. No matter what was going on. I remember playing guitar on the beach in Pasadena California. A group of 4 dudes and 6 girls sat around me and started singing when I was playing Nirvana songs. Passed the guitar around and everyone was able to play a little something. Ended up becoming friends with all of them and still keep in touch to this day.

People were sane, nice and there was nobody trying to end the United States from within the United States.

Nice. Here’s one from the 70s for some of us GenXers and younger Boomers.

just like agent Smith said, that was the peak of mankind, its been downhill in so many fking ways since then... ps:fuck @Metallica for killing Napster, sissy bitches

Blockbuster on Friday nights… 😔

What a time to be alive. I turned 16, 18 & 21 in the '90s, spent my entire military career in the '90s, it was the best and worst time of my life, and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Yep, you sure did.

I'm a millionaire. I own a successful investment firm. My home is on 6.5 acres. I'd give it all up to be skating with the crew from house party to house party, ripping bongs with a 40 of OE, a pack of DuMaurier, Sublime in the walkman, and $40 to my name.

Doggone we're old. Wow Where does the time go?

Hey I changed the music on it check it out

The only thing I want to circle back is the 90s. It was the best era, so iconic from fashion to music, just nostalgic.

I miss those simpler times before social media, smart phones, and insane people on the internet xD Can someone build a time machine? I want to go back to the 90s lol.

The last decade where we all had a shared culture. The 00's fragmented into niche internet islands of sharing and discussions. Which is still accelerating today.

🎶 And you know you're never sure But you're sure you could be right If you held yourself up to the light And the embers never fade In the city by the lake The place where you were born... 🎶
