Today was truly a blessing. Peter Obi heard the voices of the students who stood at the edge of losing their academic future. Many of our leaders remain to stay quiet without providing any help and prefer to input our national wealth on Yatch and luxury cars, while students suffer but Peter Obi always choses compassion over silence and action over excuses. At a time when many turn a blind eye, he stepped in to remind us that leadership is about not just listening but responding to the cries of the people. H.E. Peter Obi throwback I'm sure over 200 million Nigerians have never seen this video, because personally, I have never come across it anywhere before now. Different clips of him are circulating daily, but I've noticed that many Nigerian youths pay more attention to irrelevant news, celebrity clashes, and trending stories that add little or no value to our future. At this point, I strongly believe Peter Obi was sent to help rescue Nigeria. His message has always been about accountability, production, education, and rebuilding the nation for the next generation. The painful truth is this: Nigerians need Peter Obi more than Peter Obi needs Nigerians. And if we truly want a better country, we must sit up, get involved, get our PVCs, and make the right decisions for the future of Nigeria. Peter Obi may not contest forever, but the vision of a better Nigeria must continue with the people.

In continuation of our collective pursuit of a better Nigeria—one where peace, unity, and love prevail—today, Mama P, many other Nigerians, and I accompanied my principal, Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the NDC, on a courtesy visit to our Egbon, Isaac Fayose. Following the recent conversations and misunderstandings on social media, Mr. Peter Obi Peter Obi had promised to pay our Egbon a visit. Today, he fulfilled that promise. The visit was a reminder that not everything we see or hear should be taken at face value. Dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect will always be better than assumptions. At the end of the day, what truly matters is our shared desire to build a peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria. Indeed, a new Nigeria is possible. Justice can never be cracked.

About a month ago, I accompanied Mr. Peter Obi on a six-state thank-you tour in the US. At the BWI airport, while traveling from Dallas, Texas, to Washington, DC, we met Opeoluwa Solalu, a DHS employee. Opeoluwa approached me and asked if he could take a picture with His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi. After the photo, he gently told Mr. Obi, "I'm coming home to get married and would be honored to have you come." Given Mr. PeterObi’s busy schedule, I was unsure if he could attend the wedding. When I reminded him about the upcoming event, he mentioned our commitments: the campaign flag-off in Edo and two other high-profile events. Yet, Mr. Peter Obi is known for honoring invitations, particularly from ordinary people. He said, "Let's get on with Edo, and if we finish, we'll leave immediately for Lagos because of Ope." Upon arriving in Lagos, we searched for the venue for over an hour. PO was determined, and we finally found it. The joy and happiness in the atmosphere were palpable, from the security to the newlyweds, their parents, and friends. Mr. Obi went further by instructing me to give a substantial gift to the couple and some of the attendees. PO shared with me how he had attended numerous events like this as a governor, sometimes sitting quietly at the back to encourage people without drawing attention. He emphasized that he prioritizes invitations from everyday Nigerians. "They are the ones who need my advice, encouragement, and support," he said. When we met Opeoluwa, his excitement was evident. He gratefully said, "Thank you, Sir, for who you are and for the sacrifices you are making for Nigeria." He then turned to me and thanked me for allowing him to interact with and take a picture with Mr. Peter Obi. For Opeoluwa, it was a dream and inspiration come true. Mr. Peter Obi had since yesterday proceeded to celebrate his 62nd birthday with the IDPs in Mangu LGA. We are grateful for this kind gesture, and are reminded that in one spirit, whatever affects a part affects all. I want to reassure the people of Plateau State that we are doing everything possible to bring this menace to an end. By the Grace of God, we are returning Plateau to its throne of glory in no distant time.
