Facts don't lie. President Tinubu is more competent than Peter Obi. I've never seen any governor whose state's IGR reduced after he came into office except Peter Obi. Let me put it this way. Imagine you buy a business that is making ₦100 million every year. After you take over, the business starts making only ₦70 million. Nobody will call that progress. The first question people will ask is, why did the income reduce after you took over? Government works the same way. IGR is one of the key sources of money a state uses to build roads, schools, hospitals, improve security, and fund development. If the money a state generates internally is reducing instead of increasing, where will the money for development come from? Nigeria doesn't need less revenue. We need more revenue. We need leaders who can grow the economy, attract investment, create jobs, and increase government revenue.
