I almost buried this interview. Back in February, I sat down with Illia (root.near) (🇺🇦, ⋈) the Founder of $NEAR. The quality wasn’t perfect. I was traveling. The window to film it was tiny. So I never released it. But the conversation never left my mind. We talked about AI, crypto, capitalism, sovereignty, agents, privacy, robotics, and what happens when software stops being software and becomes intelligence. This was the first time I really understood why blockchain may not just be “finance infrastructure”… It may be the only thing that stops AI from becoming owned by a few centralized gods. So, I have been watching the video for hours. I am pretty sure I see a gun, I see him doing something in the area of the screwdriver was found and I see a recoil, but first, let's break it down, this first video, I think it is clear he is running with a gun, this looks like the barrel to me. Excuse my poor editing, I was trying to give you an area to look at to see the barrel--inevitably, a cultist will take a still from this video where I prematurely circled the area so you know what area to look, and they will claim "NO GUN" you watch. Anyway, I do not care, first part is proving a gun was on that roof and I clearly see it, do you?

First time I was lead on a project was for Clash of Clans. We created a 360 degree experience you can pan around inside the YouTube video! The biggest thing I learned was managing people, which I am still learning about. Some animators needed more help than others. I learned when I should speak up to save us from mistakes and when to take on more without being asked because it was my responsibility to ensure the success and pleasant working environment for the team. I had never actually played Clash of Clans before working on this, a few years later I tried it and understood what all the fuss was about. It can be an addicting game especially if you’re in a clan with friends or family.
