my fiance re-reads this book annually, some great stories in there about how to motivate folks too the one that always sticks with me is when instead of telling the day shift they needed to do more, they just wrote down how many orders the night shift fulfilled and it created a healthy competition between the two shifts (might be getting small details wrong on that) timeless wisdom in there.

Yes love that one. I think I’m going to reread it more often. I used to read tons of random books but recently the idea of more deeply focusing on the best ones may actually be more impactful. More likely to change your thinking.

A guy I worked for fresh out of college picked a fight with the CEO of a now $8b company and sent him a book called “the no asshole rule” and got sent back “How to win friends” as a clap back. Really elevated the Carnegie book in my eyes because that guy was a huge asshole 😂

When I was 16 I copied the "in a nutshell" outline at the end of each chapter. I put all of them on the back of my bedroom door and read them each morning and each night for over a year True story

Did it help? Sounds like a good idea.

Yes ..I just did the things naturally...it was ingrained in my brain ...the approach. Fairly easy to make meaningful changes IRL...simple to put the ideas into practice "I'm ok, you're ok" is another book...they say it's the best way for a layman to put psychology into practice

Thank you for the suggestion, it's difficult to keep up with super intelligent individuals who can articulate themselves technically, some even weaponise this ability over others who cant do this. Ultimately authenticity is of the highest frequency anyone can carry, and wins every time. If your intentions are truely good and honest, people will listen to you. Walk in the path of humility, be humble and open to vulnerabilities and you will find a higher purpose. 🙏

"Devoured this book in one night. Much different from other books in the genre. The main character is a masterpiece of conflicted morals and intense violence" Buy it now or read for free with Kindle Unlimited
