I love to hear testimonies from young Christians talking about their transformation. It saddens me, however, that many addicts see Christianity like another drug because they like the High. I saw it firsthand many times. Your true test will be determined in years to come.

I love how this gentleman is not pushing Christ on anyone he is just saying if you been where I have been and are finally tired of it, call upon the name that saves Jesus Christ and live! It is like a whole new life, because it is Jesus makes us a whole new creation.

Right on. 44 years ago the same thing happened to me. Once you quit fighting against Him, unclench your fist and willing surrender, He'll change your life. You really will receive the new life.

That was fantastic. It led me to make a similar prayer just now. It was a very wholesome feeling I got from that prayer. It can be hard sometimes in this world to feel connected to Jesus. But all we have to do is pray! And sometimes I forget this simple thing.

This is what the people who argue "you have to be part of X church" or "you have to believe in this particular theology of X" are missing. It's usually obvious by the language they use, whether foul, condescending or mean. Jesus brings us together in love for Him. He didn't pit us against each other over titles

He is right that life will be difficult when we accept Jesus as our Savior. The enemy will attack your mind. We will all face spiritual attack at some point. Better to face it now with Jesus leading the fight vs an eternity of attacks on your own without Jesus. Pick your when?

Yes! That happened to me at 47 almost 48 years old. Praise God! He is so faithful, so patient and so merciful. Just call out to Him…He will never turn anyone away!

@edwardlynn0827 Once I truly surrendered my life to Jesus, it was as if someone had rewritten the Bible. It suddenly made so much sense, I couldn't understand why I hadn't read it that way before. It's the same reason Jesus spoke in parables, you need Spiritual Eyes and Ears to understand.

Who is he?

Same love story happened to me, "God, are you real? If you are, please show me." He did, He showed up, spoke to me right out of His Word which was open on my lap. He brought His Word to life. In that moment I knew that I knew He was real. Since then, we've been together forever.

I had this similar experience. Except I perused Jesus Scripture daily walking in the farm fields praising & worshiping him. I was praying for my neighbors and he came with this peace I was taken & surprised and I was a moment I’ll never forget. He baptized me in the Holy Spirit
