You will agree with me that Jon Snow was wrong for doing this right?

He was not wrong. If he had let him live, it would have shown weakness.

He gives him a chance prior to his being on the block and Slynt throws it back in his face. Additionally, Slynt is a known trouble maker and is undermining his leadership as Lord Commander. Jon is fully justified and smart to make an example of him while getting rid of an underhanded enemy. Unknown to Jon, but to the reader, Janos is the kingsguard who betrayed Ned and murdered his remaining house guard. He also agrees to murder Roberts bastard children for Cersei and attempts to flatter himself into Stannis's good graces. I hardly feel sorry for him, he's an evil liar who would've never followed Jon despite the begging.

Jon Snow was in the right and it was one of the most satisfying deaths in Game of Thrones.

I think if he had not done it, he wouldn't have earned their respect

This is the Night's Watch, where most of the garrison is comprised of criminals. Fear is the best way to keep them in line. If a Crow can speak so disrespectfully to the Lord Commander, without consequence, it becomes a precedent.

Sorry, I disagree. The guy was a coward and refused orders, which can't be tolerated where they are.

Imagine you're disobeying your Lord Commander's order and you insult him still. Then Johnny n be like, it's ok, I'm sorry I ordered you, you can sit. Then he calls the next person for a task, what do you think will happen going forward. The rule is the rule.

I disagree, there were times i wanted him to do more

Nope. Had to. Not only to show strength, but had Jon let him live, he would betrayed Jon sooner or later.

I don’t agree with you

Jon wasn’t wrong,he had to set an example

No he wasn’t wrong

How was he wrong? You weakling!

Muchos persobajes de la serie pensaban que los Caminantes Blancos eran una fantasía, algo irreal, cuando la mayor fantasía de la serie eran los amigos importantes de Lord Janos.

He was absolutely in the right!

This act from him was actually needed.. Had to show he isn’t a weak leader fr

He probably wanted to prove a point

wrong as how?

A traitor is a traitor. No signs of weakness so he was right to execute him. Same with the execution of the guys who stabbed him to death

He did to earn their respect

Complete lack of media literacy or engagement bait.

Fully justifed. Slynt was a corrupted traitor. A deserter hiding during combat. And insubordination, insulting and threatening your commander. In ancient armies all 3 reasons for execution.

Was he? naaah

wrong keh ? he was right like mad.

I don’t agree

You no know wati u dey talk.

Yea right

Not at all. Even his arch nemesis understood it.

Shit up ai bot

That’s the lord commander

I agree bro.

If you let him get away with it he'd keep doing it until he kills you.

He was wrong

Slynt literally asked for it

Nope. Great move.
