Dunkley was a Liberal seat from 1996 to 2019. That the Libs couldn't get the prodigal voters to return in a seat that has been Liberal for 25 of the past 30 years is a testament to Dutton's leadership.

Niki Savva tells it like it is. She must despair of the nasty gameplaying over asylum seekers and that it has become a losing strategy for the Libs.

I agree with all the comments. 20 of 30 booths voted ALP. Only 1 booth had a big swing to Liberals in a coastal wealthy suburb. Liberals risk being exposed as the party for the lobbyists, not for the electorate.

Where did that swing come from again? That's right One Notion and the former Palmer party... Is that really a swing? Especially given they did not gain ALL of the ON or Fake Palmer party...

Why is there no acknowledgment that people can see the cost of living crisis was set in place by the LNP so the LNP strategy of blaming Labor isn’t working.

@JonesHowdareyou Strange that a party that wants to take us back to the 1950’s doesn’t resonate with anyone born after 1960.
